The terms telemedicine and telehealth are often used interchangeably, telehealth also includes non-clinical uses such as coaching and wellness and nutrition support. Is telemedicine technology difficult to use?
iHealMed telemedicine software is designed to be as easy to use as other familiar modern applications. A link to connect with your provider will be sent a few days prior to your scheduled visit, and another reminder on the day of the appointment. Please ensure you have an internet connection to start your visit. You can connect with our telehealth experts through your smartphone or computer.
Will insurance pay for video visits?
Yes, many insurers are now voluntarily pay for telemedicine visits and 26 states have laws requiring them to do so. The laws vary state to state, please contact your insurance and learn more about the rules in the state where you reside.
